This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to drive infrastructure forward, power innovation and leave your mark on our energy future.A Commercial Management Coordinator is considered to be a partner to both operations leadership and project managers, with the primary mission of proactively reducing risk to HDR by supporting development and management of HDR’s contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and other commercial and/or project documents and agreements. The Commercial Management Coordinator is responsible for the completion of tasks as delegated by the Area Risk Manager, Commercial Managers, or Project Managers typically including: Assists in preparing weekly and monthly reports as requiredAssists in document production and transmissionAssists in drafting contractsAssists in data analysis and trackingAssists in project startup, execution, and close out documentation development, storage and communicationOther tasks as assignedUp to 10% travel may be required depending on the needs of the projectsSpecific duties include, but are not limited to the following; Contract Management 1. Monitoring Compliance 2. Assist in Preparing Subcontracts 3. Assist in Processing Contract Change Orders 4. Assist in Contract Close-Out Risk Management 1. Circulate Risk Register for Updates 2. Participate in Monthly Project Reviews Document Control 1. Verify Compliance 2. Assist with Onboarding Team Members Dispute Resolution 1. Assist with Monitoring Claims Issues 2. Review Supporting Documents for Impacts on Firm Fixed Fee Consultants or Subcontractor Infractions Project Accounting 1. Support Internal and External Invoicing 2. Review Reimbursable Expenses Scheduling 1. Coordinate with Project Controls Manager on Schedule Issues/Impacts 2. Attend Schedule Report Outs and Assist with Identification of Design Team Risks 3. Assist with Schedule Adjustments for Change OrdersPreferred QualificationsAEC industry and/or design build experience Ability to do low code programming is a plus (e.g. QuickBase)Experience in claims which may include claims defense, claim production, claim negotiation/resolution, and claim preventionExperience and/or working knowledge of negotiation of contracts for architecture/engineering projects#LI-EV1QualificationsRequired QualificationsA minimum of 3 years' experience in Architecture/ Engineering, Design-Build, P3, project management, or project controls environmentEntry level positions are possible with a bachelor's degree in architecture, business, law or equivalent Ability to work well in a high performing team structure in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter; good communication and people skillsMust be committed to quality and improvement and promoting HDR's valuesWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
