Lead HVAC Installer – Lead Residential Installations for Alpha Mechanical

Job Overview:

• Salary/Pay Rate: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour (plus Performance-Based Bonus)

The Opportunity

You will serve as a key technical leader responsible for executing residential heating and cooling installations with precision and craftsmanship. This role empowers you to take ownership of site operations, guide installation helpers, and deliver reliable solutions to homeowners. You will drive project success within a growing, supportive company that directly recognizes your initiative and field expertise.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Lead end-to-end residential installations of furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning units, and ductwork systems.
• Interpret mechanical plans and technical specifications to ensure code-compliant and high-quality workmanship.
• Direct and mentor installation helpers on-site to maintain safety, efficiency, and professional standards.
• Troubleshoot complex field challenges independently to keep projects moving forward smoothly on schedule.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites while representing company standards during customer interactions.
• Coordinate daily field logistics with the office team to optimize project workflows and equipment deliveries.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 HVAC installation experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Valid Refrigeration Journeyman License.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience leading residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical installation guides accurately.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of dedicated HVAC installation experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Trade Program or Technical Certification in HVAC.
• OSHA, Fall Protection, or Lift safety certifications.
