# Job Opportunity – High Risk OB/Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: 3 weekend shifts per schedule; patient ratios vary from 1:1 to 6:1 based on acuity; charge nurse and CNC on each shift Highlights: - 25-bed High Risk Obstetrics unit specializing in antepartum, labor and delivery, and c-section care- Comprehensive case mix including high-risk antepartum patients, magnesium drip management, vaginal deliveries, c-sections, bereavement care, and gynecological procedures- Documentation systems include Connect and Expanse EMR platforms- Float opportunities within women's services including OBED, Mother Baby, and Labor and Delivery units- Collaborative team environment with charge nurse leadership and unit secretary support when available- Must be proficient in circulating c-sections and managing high-acuity obstetric patients Requirements: - Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact state eligible)- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN required- High risk antepartum experience required- Labor and delivery experience required- C-section circulating experience required- Experience with magnesium drip protocols required- Gynecological nursing experience preferred- Dress code: Navy blue, seal blue, or grey scrubs Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized women's health environment where you'll care for high-acuity obstetric patients requiring advanced clinical skills.
