Role Description The Marketing Intern role is a full-time, remote or on-site position based in Los Gatos, CA. The intern supports day-to-day marketing activities, including assisting with market research, drafting marketing materials, and helping maintain digital and social media presence. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams to support campaigns, preparing presentations and outreach collateral for prospective clients and investors, and tracking basic performance metrics. The role also involves supporting sales and client service initiatives, contributing to event planning or webinars as needed, and maintaining organized records of marketing activities. This position offers hands-on experience in a specialized financial services environment and opportunities to learn about investment banking, alternative assets, and fundraising (debt and capital). Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present information professionally. Candidates should possess Market Research skills, including gathering and analyzing data on industries, competitors, and target audiences. Candidates should possess Sales and Customer Service skills, including comfort with outreach, follow-up, and supporting a positive client experience. Candidates should possess Marketing Strategy skills, including basic understanding of branding, positioning, and campaign planning. Interest in finance, investment banking, or startups; prior coursework in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related fields is beneficial. Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) and familiarity with social media or digital marketing platforms is an advantage.
