Diesel Technician / MechanicWe are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Glen Burnie, MD.$5000.00 Sign on Bonus!You will make an impact in the following ways:Complete repairs on engine products in a service shopPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviced vehiclesAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own toolsExternal Qualifications and CompetenciesIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:Completes complex internal engine repairsPerforms engine overhauls unassistedDetailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and componentsProficient experience with engine diagnostic softwareCompensation and Benefits: Base salary rate commensurate with experience. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.A current valid license is required for this role. This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations. This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. 3 years driving experience. This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use.
