School Social Worker (Part-time)

We are currently seeking to welcome a skilled and purpose-driven School Social Worker to our passionate team! - You'll feel connected to both the Global Psychological community, as well as with the school you work in. You'll have the opportunity to build working relationships (and even friendships) with your co-workers, especially if they are in multiple buildings. They will be your greatest resource!
- Provide direct social work services to refer students who have serious social and emotional problems that interfere with learning
- Provide individual and group therapeutic counseling to students and their families
- Identify and assesses academic problems through analysis of factors impinging on student adjustment including factors in the home, school, and community
- Determine and implement appropriate therapeutic strategies to effect changes in behavioral/social interactions of students and their families
- Complete psychosocial assessments to assist in the determination of special education eligibility
- Coordinate and facilitate crisis intervention
- Social Worker License (required)
