As a Civil Designer, you will play a pivotal role in building new PV and BESS plants all across the country. This position is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship. Our Team DEPCOM is a leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Repowering and Energy Storage services for the U.S. utility solar and energy industries. We design, build, and operate some of the largest and most efficient solar plants for leading utility companies and asset owners. What You Will Do Develop civil design of PV and BESS project sites, including grading surfaces, crossing exhibits, and drawing package for field use Coordinate with engineers to ensure that all technical design requirements are represented in the drawing package Manage day-to-day workflow to ensure balance between multiple projects in development at the same time Provide feedback to the CAD Manager on how effective processes for the CAD department are functioning Extract points and surfaces for field use during construction of project Review GIS data to ensure that construction is following civil design in the field Analyze contours and topographic survey data to produce preliminary grading surfaces Review ALTA survey documents to assist in development of base files for drawing packages Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) AutoCAD drafting experience to include sheet-set manager, blocks and x-references Civil 3D civil design experience Understanding of general drafting standards What Will Put You Ahead PV or BESS Civil Design experience 2D or 3D Design experience in non-Autodesk Software Experience Adobe Acrobat or BlueBeam Revu Knowledge of LISP, .NET, Python or Dynamo programming At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
