Registered Nurse - PCU travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start December 14, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,264 to $2,399 per week. Guaranteed hours 48 per week. Shift: Day, 12x4 schedule. - Common diagnoses and procedures include COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post-op care; specialty equipment such as temp pacer, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo
- Vents: chronic vent support may be present; RT assistance as needed Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult IMCU/PCU patients, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and post-op populations
- Monitor cardiovascular and respiratory status, perform neuro assessments, and manage complex care needs
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; manage IV therapy and assist with invasive devices as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff; participate in care planning and rounding
- Develop and update individualized care plans; document in EPIC EMR with accuracy and timeliness
- Float to related units as needed; maintain patient safety and respond promptly to changes in condition Requirements
- Active NY Registered Nurse license; Nursys verification with ACTIVE NY license and ALL RN licenses; RTO must be included at submission
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS; NIHSS certification
- EMR experience required: EPIC
- 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity IMCU/PCU environment and to float to other related units as needed Benefits and Support
