Customer Service Representative

The ideal Customer Service Representative thrives in a small, team-oriented manufacturing environment, enjoys working directly with customers, and takes a hands-on approach to managing orders and solving issues from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer service inquiries via phone and email in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Process and manage order entry, including order changes, tracking, and issue resolution
- Provide accurate information on product details, pricing, and order status
- Coordinate closely with production, shipping, and internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment
- Assist with shipping documentation, including bills of lading, and support logistics processes
- Help coordinate with carriers, freight providers, and customs (as needed) for domestic and international shipments
- Maintain and update customer and order data within internal systems
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or order entry (manufacturing or distribution preferred)
- Experience with shipping documentation (bill of lading) and/or exposure to logistics or customs processes is a plus
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Experience working in a small team environment with the ability to wear multiple hats
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
