Role Overview

Apply your U.S. compliance law expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. This remote contract opportunity focuses on producing high-quality, real-world legal input that improves how AI models reason, respond, and perform. AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, review, and annotate legal documents and compliance materials for AI system development.
Draft detailed explanations, rationales, and responses to complex compliance scenarios for machine-learning datasets.
Evaluate AI-generated legal content for accuracy, logic, and alignment with U.S. compliance standards.
Work remotely with project leads and technical specialists on nuanced compliance and regulatory questions.
Create scenario-based questions and answers reflecting current compliance-law trends and challenges.
Identify ambiguities and legal risks in AI outputs, then recommend improvements for clarity and precision.
Provide feedback that supports ongoing refinement of AI training processes.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school and an active attorney license in good standing.
3 to 10+ years of recent, substantive compliance-law practice experience in the United States.
Currently practicing compliance law and based in the United States.
Expertise in compliance law, legal-document analysis, legal writing, regulatory research, and U.S. law.
Strong attention to detail, critical-thinking ability, written and verbal communication, and remote collaboration skills.
Judicial clerkship experience is preferred.
Experience teaching law courses or legal writing at an accredited law school is a plus.
Legal-journal editorial experience during law school is highly valued.

Work Terms

Remote, contract engagement available only to U.S.-based attorneys.
Compensation is output-based, with payment for tasks that meet project specifications. Completion time may vary based on experience and workflow.
Minimum submission requirements apply, including a required minimum number of task submissions each week.
Roles are generally filled within 48 hours. Selected candidates should be ready to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.

Compensation

$100 to $170 per hour.
