Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing services by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere. You will serve as the primary representative of the patient care team, acting as a liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging in performance improvement initiatives
• Maintaining professional competence
• Mentoring and developing others
• Upholding confidentiality, safety, and professional standards
• Supporting Shared Governance through participation in councils or sponsored activities

Position Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications (required in select units/departments) to be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Valid Registered Nursing License in Georgia or a qualifying multi-state compact license

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• National specialty certification relevant to the area of practice
