Bartender

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with previous bartending experience to join our Iron Wood & Ice restaurant team at The Club at Prairie Falls! As a bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as well as serving food while providing an excellent guest experience. Your shifts may include a mix of bartending at our main indoor bar as well as our event bars outside (tent coverage), and in our event center upstairs. Responsibilities Fulfill drink orders from guests & servers Take & serve food orders from guests in your designated area Check IDs and adhere to all alcohol service policies and procedures Perform all required shift side work as defined by the restaurant general manager Assist in setting up bar with all needed ingredients and equipment Prepare ingredients to use in cocktails (cutting and peeling fruit, etc.) Ensure great presentation before cocktails are served Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the bar Ensure all liquors, condiments and other items are stored properly Check quality of ingredients Skills Previous bartending experience strongly preferred Ability to work in a fast paced and unpredictable environment Strong attention to detail Ability to work calmly under pressure Excellent communication skills with both co-workers and guests Excellent sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively.
