Position Overview

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Warehouse & Material Flow Analyst to support warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, and material flow within a manufacturing environment.

This role focuses on analyzing and improving the movement of materials—from receiving and storage through picking, presentation, and delivery —while maintaining accurate part and PFEP data. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, proficient in Excel, comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor, and able to identify process improvements through hands-on investigation and collaboration with operators and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze assigned warehouse and material flow areas and document material movement and detailed part data .
• Conduct hands-on investigations on the manufacturing floor and gather information through discussions with operators.
• Maintain and improve accurate PFEP (Plan for Every Part) data.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Warehouse teams .
• Support logistics activities including part receiving, storage, picking, presentation, and delivery .
• Investigate material shortages and identify root causes, corrective actions, and process improvements.
• Assist with the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing areas.
• Use data and analysis to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, accuracy, and material flow.
• Monitor work and processes to ensure quality and adherence to expectations.
• Track project progress and ensure assigned initiatives are completed on time and within budget.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and results effectively to stakeholders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 6+ months of experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel .
• Ability and willingness to work directly on the manufacturing floor.
• Strong investigation and follow-through skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and employee motivation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment .
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain processes .
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word .
• Strong ability to work with IT systems and operational data.
• Experience supporting process improvement / continuous improvement projects .
• Understanding of inventory control, material flow, and logistics operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a Warehouse Analyst, Material Flow Analyst, Logistics Analyst, Inventory Analyst, or Manufacturing Analyst who combines strong Excel/data analysis skills with hands-on warehouse or manufacturing experience.
