Come grow with us!**Job Title: Operator 1****Department: Operations****Reports to: Production Supervisor****Supervises: No****Grade: 8****FLSA Status: Non-Exempt****Position Information*** **Job Summary**: Operator 1 is responsible for Sort & Pack Operations including lessor skilled work than that of Labor Grade 5 on the shop floor in compliance with IATF 16949 Standards.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Responsible for continuous operation of machinery in order to eliminate any unnecessary downtime.* Able to troubleshoot manufacturing issues in order to maintain quality standards.* Able to operate all mobile equipment.* May be Responsible for material handling, overhead cranes, and pulling racks from chambers.* Must be able to measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and other similar devices.* Responsible for sorting, packaging, gluing and dumping scrap.* Responsible to complete all paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and on- time.* Responsible to assist in general housekeeping of the department.* Responsible to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a safe work environment at all times.* Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.**Qualification Requirements****Educational/Training Requirement:*** High school diploma or equivalent.**Experience:*** Manufacturing experience a plus.**Licenses/Certifications:*** N/A**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*** Strong written and verbal communication skills* Basic math skills* Highly motivated* Strong time management and priorities management skills* Analytical and problem solving skills* Computer literate with knowledge of Excel.
