Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent

Up to $16 per hour Hilton Fort Wayne, IN Onsite Job Classification: Front Desk Job Location: ONSHORE Job Title: Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent Pay Rate: $15/hr - $16/hr Location: Hilton Fort Wayne, Indiana Schedule Requirements Flexibility to work overnight shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and 2nd shift hours (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) as business needs require Schedule may vary week to week; no set or guaranteed shifts Weekend and holiday availability required Ability to adapt to scheduling needs across Night Audit and Front Desk coverage Night Audit Duties Audit, balance, and post room, food, and beverage charges accurately Ensure accuracy of financial transactions, adjustments, and tax postings Complete and reconcile daily reports, including deposits, over/short accounts, and audit summaries Prepare daily statistical, financial, and operational reports Maintain proper cash handling procedures Perform nightly system balancing and end-of-day closeout procedures Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data entry tasks Ensure compliance with Hilton standards and accounting procedures Communicate effectively with management and incoming shifts regarding operational updates Front Desk Duties Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service Process check-ins and check-outs according to Hilton standards Assign and block rooms, manage reservations, and handle cancellations Promote hotel services and upsell when appropriate Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, directions, and local attractions Assist with guest requests such as transportation, safety deposit boxes, and additional keys Answer and route phone calls professionally Additional Responsibilities Protect guest and company information in compliance with privacy policies Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude with guests and team members Attend department meetings as required Report to work on time and in proper uniform Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred Experience with Hilton systems (PEP or OnQ) is a plus, but not required Experience with Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills High stress tolerance and adaptability Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life and Disability Insurance Paid Time Off, Vacation, and Holiday Pay 401(k) Retirement Plan Hilton Team Member Travel Program (discounted stays worldwide) Flexible scheduling and employee discounts Other Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Environment Fast-paced, guest-focused hotel environment Located in downtown Fort Wayne at a premier full-service hotel and convention center Ideal Candidate Dependable and reliable People-oriented and team-driven Detail-oriented Flexible and adaptable Comfortable working independently overnight with little to no supervision Strong "Can Do" attitude Application Questions Are you available to work overnight shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)?
