Program Director – Outpatient Behavioral Health & Substance Use Services

Location: Roxboro, NC
Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000 – $80,000/year (DOE)***

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead outpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment programs. This role will oversee daily operations, clinical quality, staff supervision, compliance, and program growth while ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee outpatient behavioral health and SUD program operations.
• Lead, supervise, and develop clinical teams.
• Monitor program performance, quality, and patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with NC regulations, Medicaid/Medicare, and accreditation standards.
• Support recruitment, training, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with program growth, partnerships, and operational planning.
  

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Active NC license: LCSW, LCMHC, LCAS, or APRN .
• 3+ years of leadership/program management experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
  

Preferred:
Dual licensure (LCSW/LCAS or LCMHC/LCAS), outpatient leadership experience, CARF/regulatory compliance knowledge.
