Pay: $20.15 - $23.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary-to-Hire

Manpower is seeking a Facilities Technician I for a growing company in San Diego. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with maintenance, handyman, or building maintenance experience who is looking to grow into a long-term facilities career.
You'll support daily building operations by performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, office equipment maintenance, and assisting with facility improvement projects.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine building maintenance and minor facility repairs.
- Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and light carpentry work.
- Troubleshoot and maintain office appliances including refrigerators, microwaves, coffee machines, and dishwashers.
- Support facility improvement and renovation projects.
- Assemble and install ergonomic office equipment and furniture.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors performing onsite work.
- Maintain recycling programs and assist with overall facility upkeep.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests submitted through phone, email, and work order systems.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months of facilities, maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Experience using common hand and power tools.
- Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn new maintenance skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
