$28.00 per hour up to $32.00 per hour depending upon skillset and experience. Additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. 8-hour shifts. 2nd shift: 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm. 3rd shift: 10:45 pm to 7:15 am. Currently hiring for 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift dependent upon business need. Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, holidays and emergency events as needed. Plant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

As part of our manufacturing team, you will:

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment to improve reliability and operational performance
• Understanding and following all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipment
• Identifying/diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, electrical and/or electronic issues
• Management of work orders, parts requisition, and data entry through understanding and use of Maximo Maintenance Management System
• Providing technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modification
• Understanding, initiating, and participating in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why)
• Performing both uptime and down time preventative maintenance
• Effectively communicate and productively interact with all levels of team personnel and outside contractors, vendors, visitors, etc.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance
• Assist in training new employees

High school diploma or GED. Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English). 2+ years (minimum) experience in industrial maintenance or related industry experience and/or equivalent education in a related field/industry. Must have a solid understanding of mechanical and pneumatic systems, basic electrical troubleshooting skills, ability to diagnose problems, repair or replace components, preventative maintenance and attention to detail. Experience with various tools and technologies, including hand tools, power tools, basic electrical skills including using a multimeter; checking voltage, testing motors, safely opening panels, resetting brakers, identifying faults and use of a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Ability to work independently and as a team with flexibility to quickly shift work priorities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods. Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions. Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms. Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards. Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required). Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens.
