Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge, compassionate client communication, and a genuine desire to help others navigate complex decisions. Compensation and Benefits Salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 based on experience and qualifications Performance-based bonus opportunities Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates SIMPLE IRA with employer match up to 3% Paid time off CLE and professional development support Collaborative and supportive work environment Opportunities for long-term professional growth within the firm Responsibilities • Advise clients regarding Medicaid eligibility and long-term care planning • Develop and implement Medicaid planning and asset protection strategies • Handle Medicaid applications, appeals, and related planning matters • Counsel families through crisis planning situations and long-term care decisions • Draft estate planning documents and related planning tools • Assist clients with trust administration and probate matters • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and education • Participate in ongoing professional development Qualifications • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Indiana • Minimum of three years of Medicaid planning experience preferred • Elder law and estate planning experience strongly preferred • Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and client relationship skills • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment • Organized, compassionate, and client-focused approach to service • Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and continuous learning
