Location: Piedmont Fayette Hospital Shift: Days (7a-7p); Weekends and Holidays Required Status: Full-time Department: Emergency Dept. Overview Patient Care Tech / Piedmont Fayette Hospital Emergency Department. Full-time / Days (7a-7p); Weekends & Holiday Availability Required. Responsibilities As a Patient Care Tech/PCT, your dedication to holistic, patient-centered care in your community is deeply valued. You will demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures, equipment appropriate to a clinical setting, hospital policy, and prescribed standards, while caring for patients of all ages. Work in a fast-paced environment to promote healing and support wellness. Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to provide direct care to a diverse patient population. Provide key aspects of patient care including helping patients with bathing, feeding and other necessary activities of daily living. Qualifications High school degree or equivalent Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross). Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
