Job Description
- Operate edge banding machinery to apply edge material to countertop components.
- Set up and adjust machine settings for various countertop sizes, materials, and edge profiles.
- Review production work orders and specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect finished products for quality, appearance, adhesion, color match, and dimensional accuracy.
- Trim, sand, and finish edges as needed to meet quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and identify operational issues.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting on equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and production delays to supervision.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain production records and documentation as required.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies.
- Assist in other production areas as needed to support manufacturing operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
