Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Truck Driver. Responsibilities include delivering and distributing building products to assigned customers, ensuring safe loading, handling, and transportation of materials and heavy cargo, driving truck to destination applying commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations, completing necessary paperwork and relaying any customer questions or complaints to supervisor, inspecting truck for any defects or problems that might arise before and after trips and submitting reports indicating truck condition, maintaining vehicle in safe operating condition including service with fuel, oil, and water, maintaining logs and records according to D.O.T. regulations, assisting associates in loading and unloading trucks or building loads as needed, securing cargo for transit, maintaining a clean truck, maintaining good housekeeping in work area, demonstrating strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement, and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications include HS Diploma, GED and two (2) years equivalent work experience, a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and the ability to safely operate transportation equipment (i.e., tractor/trailer combinations), two (2) years truck driving experience required, working knowledge of DOT regulations and meeting BC driver qualifications, performing duties in all weather conditions, and two years of flatbed experience required. Knowledge of building products and forklift experience is a plus.
