Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needs and responses to care. Uses sound nursing judgment in care management decisions. Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses. Administers medications as ordered. Collaborates with the team to create a Plan of Care for patients. Guides ancillary personnel and maintains professional nursing standards. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree). Current NYS Registered Nurse license. Certification in BLS and ACLS. 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
