Tech Lead

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a tech lead to join the team. The Tech Lead will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electric or LP/propane-powered forklifts and other material handling equipment. The technician should be highly proficient in either electric or LP equipment and capable of independently completing routine maintenance and basic-to-intermediate repairs.

Skills and Requirements

• Forklift certified

• Experience overseeing and completing work orders

• Experience leading a team

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electric or LP material handling equipment.

• Practical knowledge of electrical, LP, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

• Experience reading basic wiring diagrams and following service manuals.

• Ability to work independently on routine repairs.

• Must provide personal hand tools.

Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office.

• Able to lift or pull at least 75 pounds.
