Location: Mojave Desert / Barstow Area, CA (On-site)
Schedule: 4-on, 4-off | 12-Hour Shifts (Excellent work-life balance rotation!)
Position Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm (2 month temp period)

What You’ll Do
As an integral part of our plant operations, you will take ownership of the repair, maintenance, and reliability of all instrumentation and control systems across the facility.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on process control instrumentation, control valves, systems, and components.
- Calibrate & Configure: Calibrate electronic/pneumatic pressure transmitters, level transmitters (SP, Radar, float), and flowmeters, while configuring logic in control systems.
- Hardware Maintenance: Repair/replace thermocouple or RTD temperature elements and install stainless steel instrumentation tubing.
- Safety & Operations: Work safely within strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to hang and remove clearances, documenting your work accurately in SAP.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years of direct work experience as an I&C Technician in a heavy industrial or power plant environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of power plant processes (Rankine Cycle, water treatment plants, heat exchangers).
- The Tools: High proficiency using a Digital Multimeter and HART Communicator is a must.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and electrical schematics with limited supervision.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED); valid driver's license required.
