ER Tech II: Critical Patient Care & Support

Schedule Hours of Work: 8a-8p, 9a-9p Days Of Week: Sunday-Saturday Work Shift: PRN (United States of America) Job Description The ER Technician II is responsible for all basic patient care duties and assists with direct patient care to provide support services to the patients, families, and other Emergency Services staff. This includes, but is not limited to, therapeutic treatment as ordered by the physician on duty, operation of laboratory equipment, patient discharge and education. Job Purpose Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System. Job Requirements Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Licenses and/or Certifications Current Texas EMT‑P certification (license required) or National EMT‑P Certification Current Basic Life Support Certification required Current Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification required Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification required within 90 days of hire Work Experience 1 year of work‑related experience – preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Dormont Manufacturing Co
