Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: San Diego, CA 91942 (Must be able to float to nearby San Diego area facilities)
Job Type: 26-Week Contract (Extension Possible)
Schedule: M-F| 8-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Pay Local: $65 - $75/hr
Travel Pay: $2,800-$3,150 Gross Weekly

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the San Diego area. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care and compliance with state and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols.
Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Float to other San Diego area facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

Active California Mammography (Mammo) License
ARRT (M) Certification
Completion of a formal Mammography education program (proof required)
Minimum 200 mammography studies completed within the last 2 years
Minimum 15 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in Breast Imaging within the last 3 years
Experience performing Screening and Diagnostic Mammography
