About the Opportunity

Triceratops Technology Resources (TTR) is looking for an experienced Volunteer Manager to help strengthen and grow our volunteer program.

As we expand our community programming, including an upcoming series of digital skills classes , we need someone who can help us build a more intentional approach to volunteer recruitment, engagement, scheduling, retention, onboarding, and ongoing support.

This is a volunteer position and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building programs, developing people, and helping volunteers find meaningful ways to contribute.

What You’ll Help With

The Volunteer Manager will work with TTR leadership to:

• Develop and improve our overall volunteer strategy and processes.
• Recruit and conduct outreach to prospective volunteers.
• Help staff volunteers for upcoming digital skills classes and community programs.
• Partner with the Learning Manager to match volunteers with programs and opportunities that best fit their skills, interests, and experience.
• Partner with the Learning Manager to develop onboarding materials, volunteer resources, guides, and ongoing support tools.
• Build systems for volunteer onboarding, scheduling, communication, and follow-up.
• Develop strategies to improve volunteer engagement and retention.
• Identify meaningful activities and opportunities that keep volunteers involved between programs.
• Help match volunteer skills and interests with organizational needs.
• Maintain a positive and organized volunteer experience.
• Recommend tools, processes, and practices that will help TTR build a sustainable volunteer program.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Experience coordinating, managing, or building volunteer programs.
• Experience with volunteer recruitment, outreach, engagement, or retention.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to organize people, schedules, and competing priorities.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to help build processes where they may not yet exist.
• An interest in technology access, digital literacy, education, or community service is a plus.

Experience in nonprofit organizations, community programs, volunteer coordination, HR, learning and development, or program management would also translate well to this role.
