Staff Accountant-Intacct and Bill.com

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a detailoriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support daytoday accounting operations and monthend close. This role will be responsible for core accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, journal entries, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate has handson experience with Sage Intacct and Bill.com , a strong accounting foundation, and thrives in a deadlinedriven environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation
• Perform revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
• Complete account reconciliations for balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Support and actively participate in monthend close activities
• Assist with financial reporting and internal documentation as needed
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate crossfunctionally to resolve discrepancies and improve processes

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment
• Handson experience with Sage Intacct
• Handson experience with Bill.com
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and timemanagement skills
• Experience supporting audits or financial reviews
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
