Outside Sales Professional

Job Overview As a Pest Control Consultant, you will sell the company’s industry‑leading pest management services and products to residential customers while maintaining a customer‑focused service to grow the business. Responsibilities Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and pest entries. Assess customers’ needs and sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance. Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians to create sales opportunities. Partner with the Branch Manager to identify revenue streams within the existing customer base. Develop proposals to resolve pest issues and propose additional household services. Complete home diagrams using the Sales CRM to ensure clear understanding of the customer home and potential challenges. Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities. Provide expert knowledge to support new service installations and ensure job satisfaction. Track daily activities and sales performance using the company Sales CRM. Essential Job Functions & Physical Demands Lift up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently. Move around a lot—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and walking on narrow or slippery surfaces. Operate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles. Work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways. Handle different pests (spiders, flies, mosquitos, rodents, etc.) and enter small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics. Operate a motor vehicle and maintain it and other equipment clean. Wear personal protective equipment such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license in the state of residence. Strong social, customer service, and communication skills; experience or training in sales is preferred. At least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience. Availability to travel up to 100% of time within the assigned territory.
