Job Description
The Maintenance Technician performs a wide range of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities to keep equipment and facilities operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment, systems, and facility infrastructure to ensure reliable operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using appropriate tools and testing methods.
• Repair or replace faulty components and parts to restore equipment to proper working condition.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and address them before they cause downtime.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and findings accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintenance best practices while working on equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex maintenance issues and support continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong electrical skills with the ability to work safely on electrical systems and components.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving equipment and system issues.
• Hands-on experience performing repairs, maintenance, and adjustments on a variety of equipment.
• Solid understanding of general maintenance practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, procedures, and basic documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience or qualification in maintenance or a related technical field.
• Experience working with both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a maintenance environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Work Environment
The role takes place in a hands-on maintenance environment working directly with equipment and facility systems. You can expect a mix of routine and reactive maintenance tasks, including electrical troubleshooting and general repairs. The position may involve standing, walking, and working with tools and machinery for extended periods, as well as following established safety procedures and wearing appropriate work attire and protective equipment as required for a maintenance setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
