Warehouse Manager

Overview Manage inbound material receiving processes, Supplier Surveillance and Supplier Oversight for service providers, and all logistics associated with inbound material, storage and kitting. Design and execute strategies and plans to meet Safran Seat's short‑term and long‑term supply chain management objectives, including optimized storage and stock rotations. Responsibility A) Maintain highest safety in all areas and promote a culture of safety aligned with HSE compliance. B) Align processes with receiving and inspection departments to ensure timely movement of material. C) Manage and coordinate supplier assessments to evaluate compliance and process control for support services. D) Develop and maintain metrics to support and manage supply chain performance (OTD, kit quality, inventory accuracy, etc.). E) Maintain storage environment parameters, synchronize physical and logistical flows, and use visual management with regular updates. F) Implement processes that reduce costs, inventory, and increase efficiency in material receipt while ensuring quality requirements are met. G) Facilitate and lead the implementation of One Safran Lean processes with Kanban, Min‑Max, VMI, etc., based on PFEP and ABC inventory classifications across Safran Seats sites. H) Continuously evaluate and seek improvements in supply chain efficiencies in a changing environment. I) Follow up on activities in education, innovation and safety. J) Recruit, hire, onboard, train, develop, motivate, evaluate employee performance, and initiate promotions, transfers, and corrective actions. K) Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Qualification : Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a related discipline or equivalent with six (6) years of related experience. Work Experience – Technical Knowledge : Three (3) years of hands‑on experience in Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Quality or Supply Chain. Three (3) years of experience and/or training in a lean manufacturing environment. Practical application experience of continuous improvement in warehousing, logistics, or operations. Professional Skills : Excellent knowledge of all aspects of product realization processes. Effective communication, motivation, and leadership skills. Ability to train operators, managers/cell leaders in lean and operations excellence tools. Purpose‑driven thinking. Knowledge of warehousing and distribution methods. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma problem‑solving methodologies is desired. Ability to collect and interpret data. Behavioral Skills : Capability to produce written communication and operate required office equipment. Strong reading, reviewing, speaking and hearing abilities in English. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle multiple variables. Ability to work with a diverse population with varying education and skills background. Desirable Aspects : Experience with MRP (M3), Powerlink, SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, and 3PL.
