Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to pregnant individuals during labor and delivery. This includes monitoring the health of both the mother and baby, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure a safe delivery experience.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess the health status of patients during labor and delivery.
• Provide support and guidance to patients and families throughout the labor process.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
• Document patient care and responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
• Assist with C-sections and ensure post-operative care as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required.
• Current RN license is required.
