Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Nights)

This position is located in Women's Health services.

This is a 13-week contract position.

This role requires a night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM.

The Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit will provide high-risk obstetric care, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns. The nurse will be an integral part of a highly skilled team, performing a variety of critical procedures and monitoring patients closely.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in Labor and Delivery and the OBED.
• Administer magnesium and insulin drips as necessary.
• Monitor fetal health and maternal wellbeing using intermediate fetal monitoring.
• Participate in scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1 year of travel experience in high-risk obstetrics.
• Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, and BLS.
• Experience in OBED and high-risk/high-volume settings is preferred.
