General Production - 1st shift (6am to 2:30pm)

General Production Worker

Pridestaff is currently seeking a General Production Worker for a wood manufacturing company located in Rialto, CA. This position is full-time, temporary position with potential for hire. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

• Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00 to $23.00
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8 -12 hours daily - 1st shift 6am to 2:30pm (plus mandatory overtime as needed; must be able to work 12 hours daily including Saturdays)

Job summary: Depending on assignment, successful candidates may do any of the following duties:

1. Will be cleaning doors in the production area
2. Material preparation and material handling
3. Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
4. Inspecting and sorting doors. Will need to be to flip doors throughout whole shift.
5. Other general warehouse duties as needed
6. In all functions, maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules

Preferred Experience/Requirements:

1. Past experience in commercial woodworking a plus (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)
2. Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
3. General knowledge of building materials
4. Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
5. Must be able to lift up 50lbs 8-10 hours daily as the position requires the flipping of doors and checking for damages.
6. Must have good attention to detail.
7. Must have steel toe shoes or steel toe boots
8. Must be willing to submit to drug test and background prior to start

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
