Licensed Practical Nurse PRN

Job Summary:

Vandalia Healthcare & Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations

• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team

• Work closely with physicians, care team partners, residents, and family members to deliver personalized care

• Availability for day-shift coverage (6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. or 6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.) with Thursday availability preferred; weekend shifts may also be available

Requirements:

• Valid LPN or RN license

• Relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting

• Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and ability to navigate electronic health record systems

• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, families, and team members
