Software Quality Assurance ManagerWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Manager to lead our new QA resources in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, and test planning.In this role, you willMentor QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Provide leadership and guidance in defining, implementing, and maintaining QA best practices.Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans based on project requirements and timelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with development milestonesOversee the execution of test plans, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.Monitor and analyze test results, identifying and prioritizing issues for resolution.Develop and implement an automation strategy to increase testing efficiency and coverage.Evaluate and integrate appropriate testing tools to enhance the automation framework.Collaborate with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and drive improvements.Act as a point of contact for quality-related discussions and decisions.Work with 3rd Party Vendors as needed.Establish and maintain metrics for QA effectiveness, defect rates, and testing coverage.Generate and communicate regular reports to management on the status of software quality.What it takesMinimum of five years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services and technical experience preferred.Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering) required. Graduate degree preferred. Samprasoft
