Senior Manager of Operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific will lead manufacturing, planning, and support functions at the Oakwood Village site. The role involves overseeing production operations, building effective teams, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining regulatory compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Oversee production operations and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards
Develop and lead effective teams across manufacturing, planning, and support functions
Implement strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects for operational excellence
Manage regulatory compliance, audits, and capital projects while optimizing costs
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance performance metrics and KPIs

Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus 5 years operations management in regulated pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing
Expertise in cGMP, FDA regulations, and quality management systems
2+ years leading organizational change and team development
Proficiency with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and ERP systems
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of supply chain management
