The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent, student-centered, qualified candidates for the position of General Education Intervention Ed Tech III to support elementary students through targeted academic interventions. This position works closely with teachers and staff to provide small-group instruction, monitor student progress, and support academic growth.

The candidate must hold an Ed. Tech III certification

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group and individualized interventions in reading and/or math
• Collect, monitor, and enter student data into the school's data management system
• Implement evidence-based instructional strategies and intervention programs
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators to support student success
• Maintain a positive, supportive learning environment
• Participate in team meetings and professional development

Qualifications

• Maine Educational Technician III Certification required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
• Knowledge of data collection and progress monitoring practices
• Flexible, patient, and committed to supporting all learners

The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. Candidates must hold a valid Ed Tech III certificate.

Work Schedule: 180 Day Contract

OXFORD HILLS REGION

The Oxford Hills School District (MSAD 17) comprises the towns of Norway, South Paris, West Paris, Oxford, Waterford, Harrison, Hebron and Otisfield. MSAD 17 shares vocational resources and accepts students in its Oxford Hills Technical School programs from the RSU10 School District towns of Buckfield, Hartford and Sumner. Oxford Hills/Nezinscot Adult Education is located within the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

The Oxford Hills offer a variety of outdoor resources for anyone wishing to enjoy the region, whatever the season. The area boasts more than ten lakes and ponds for outdoor recreation, a land trust with hundreds of acres for skiing, snowshoeing, and is in close proximity to several downhill skiing areas!
