Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Wilmington is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role assists in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Hilton brand cleanliness and service standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support housekeeping staff during daily operations
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for cleanliness and quality standards
Assign daily tasks and monitor staff productivity
Train new housekeeping team members on Hilton standards and procedures
Ensure timely room turnover and coordinate with Front Desk on room status updates
Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and linens
Address guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly
Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
Assist Executive Housekeeper with scheduling and departmental organization

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping or hotel supervisory experience preferred
Hilton brand experience is a plus
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts
