Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Pediatric Outpatient Clinic

Part-Time / Cynergy Rehab Group

As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our outpatient pediatric clinic, you will work directly with children of varying ages and abilities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Your role will be hands-on, active, and highly collaborative.

Your typical day may include:

• Providing 1:1, play-based therapy sessions to children with developmental delays, orthopedic conditions, neurological diagnoses, and genetic disorders
• Implementing individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT to improve mobility, balance, coordination, strength, and functional independence
• Using creative, child-centered interventions (games, obstacle courses, equipment, and functional play) to keep kids engaged and progressing
• Assisting children with gross motor skills such as walking, running, jumping, stair navigation, and balance activities
• Supporting the use and monitoring of adaptive equipment and orthotics , including proper fit and function
• Educating and coaching parents/caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to carry over progress outside the clinic
• Completing electronic documentation in a timely and compliant manner
• Collaborating daily with PTs, OTs, SLPs, and clinic staff to provide coordinated, whole-child care
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment

• Outpatient pediatric clinic with a welcoming, family-centered atmosphere
• Structured schedule with a balance of direct patient care and documentation time
• Opportunities to build long-term relationships with patients and families

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Passion for working with children and families
• Ability to be engaging, energetic, and creative during therapy sessions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
