Opportunity Overview We are looking for a Diesel and Trailer Technician. Join our FleeTec Academy, a paid educational program that leads to a full‑time role as a Mobile Mechanic. We pay for a five‑week, full‑time, classroom‑based training program, covering fundamentals of diesel and trailer repair, and provide tools and a stipend for meals and travel. Program and Compensation 5 weeks paid classroom training; all travel expenses paid. Free technical education and a set of hand tools. Hands‑on training with a Lead Technician and a full‑time job with us as a Mobile Mechanic. Paid hourly wage: $16/h (or state minimum wage, whichever is greater) plus $250 stipend for the first week. Hourly wage increases to $21/h after graduation from phase 1. Further training and pay progression are available. What We’re Looking For Desire to start a career as a Diesel and Trailer Technician. Willingness and ability to study hard. Commitment to a five‑week away‑from‑home training period. Maturity to focus on the task at hand. Technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles. Ability to operate an iPad. Must be at least 21 to drive our trucks. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
