We are currently working with a lovely, SEMH provision in the North Manchester area, looking to recruit an experienced youth mentor to join their team. About the School: Prospero Teaching are currently working with a lovely, SEMH provision in the North Manchester. The school supports pupils aged between 11-16, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, focusing on providing a nurturing environment for young people to reach their full potential. As a Youth Mentor, you will: Assist in both 1-1 and group support Promote fun and engaging activities Maintain regular communication with parents and other staff members Build rapport with pupils, offering both academic and emotional support Experience, Training and Qualifications: Up to date Safeguarding qualification within the last year (Desired but training can be provided) Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired A full, clean driving license is highly desired for this position Previous experience supporting SEMH within a school or community-based role To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years Other If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
