JOB TITLE: Software Test Engineer

LOCATION: Portage, MI

CLIENT SPECIFICS

• Must be able to be onsite 4 days a week
• Candidates with regulated experience like medical device will be given preference
• Need 2-3 professional references and resume to submit

TOP 3 SKILLS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher education
2. 4 years+ experience software testing in a linux environment
3. Experience with Python, C or C++

FORMAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Software, Computer, Electrical Engineering, or related field

4 years experience in software, embedded testing, or Linux porting testing

Familiarity with Python or C/C++, Linux, and basic testing concepts

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with requirements and traceability tools (e.g., JAMA, DOORS)

Familiarity with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines and concepts

Understanding of SDLC and verification processes, preferably in a regulated environment
