This opportunity lets you support warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while helping ensure orders are completed safely and accurately. Join a hardworking team responsible for handling and storing the pepper mash used in one of Louisiana's most iconic food production operations. You'll operate material handling equipment, support inventory accuracy, move product safely throughout the facility, and help keep warehouse operations running efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Previous warehouse, forklift, or general labor experience preferred Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or outdoor work environment is a plus Job Duties Load, unload, and transport pepper mash barrels using forklifts and material handling equipment Store, stage, and organize mash barrels in designated warehouse areas Track inventory and maintain documentation for mash batches Inspect barrels for leaks, damage, and quality concerns Follow proper mash handling, rotation, and storage procedures Deliver mash barrels to production teams as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety regulations and standard operating procedures Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when required Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred. Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associate. Physical Capabilities Comfortable working in hot, humid, and outdoor conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
