You will use advanced ultrasound technology to evaluate arteries and veins while delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating closely with providers and the healthcare team.This position is ideal for professionals who value precision, clinical excellence, and creating a positive patient experience.What You'll DoPerform non-invasive vascular ultrasound procedures and obtain diagnostic-quality imagesEvaluate vascular structures including arterial and venous systemsSupport physicians in diagnosing vascular conditions such as occlusions, aneurysms, and circulatory abnormalitiesEnsure accurate documentation and timely communication of findingsMaintain patient comfort, safety, and education throughout the imaging processOperate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to departmental standardsCollaborate with radiologists, providers, and interdisciplinary care teamsQualificationsEducationGraduate of an accredited Sonography programLicensure & CertificationsRequired:Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS orRegistered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through CCICurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or American Red CrossPreferred:One to two years of sonography experience with vascular registrySchedule & LocationPosition: Vascular Ultrasound TechnologistDepartment: RadiologyStatus: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday-Friday | 80 hours per pay periodGateway Regional Medical Center2100 Madison AvenueGranite City, IL 62040Compensation$34.97-52.46 per hour + 10,000 sign on bonus. 5,000 after first 90 days and 5,000 after 1 year of employment.Compensation is determined based on education, years of experience, certifications, and relevant skills.
