Travel RN – Emergency Department Short Stay (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Department Short Stay unit functioning in a Med-Surg capacity
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using the facility's Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout each shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in an Emergency Department or Med-Surg setting
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Must meet travel candidate eligibility requirements for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with short-stay or observation unit workflows within an emergency department setting
