Job Title: Welder Job Description

This role involves pipe welding on a large industrial build, specifically focusing on high-quality stainless work. The position requires expertise in pipe welding, not structural-only, and experience with higher-pressure gas or water systems is essential.

• Perform TIG and/or combo pipe welding on stainless and carbon materials.
• Fit, tack, weld, and grind pipe according to drawings and specifications.
• Work on higher-pressure water and/or gas systems.
• Collaborate with pipefitters on an active construction site.
• Read isometrics, specifications, and weld symbols; pass a site weld test.
• Adhere to LOTO, hot-work permits, PPE, and fire watch rules.

• Proficiency in 6G welding.
• Experience in pipe welding, particularly TIG and 6G.
• Ability to perform high-quality stainless welding.
• Capability to work with combo welders whose strength is pipe work.
• Background in plant, refinery, power, process, or large mechanical construction.
• Experience with higher-pressure gas or water piping systems.

• Experience in hydrotesting pipes.
• Ability to conduct air and leak testing on lines.
• Knowledge of Sch 10 stainless and above.
• AWS pipe certifications in 6G TIG and/or flux-core.

Work is conducted on an active construction site, requiring adherence to safety protocols such as LOTO, hot-work permits, PPE, and fire watch rules. The environment involves working with pipefitters and utilizing technologies for welding and testing high-pressure systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southaven, MS.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Southaven,MS.
