The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires proficiency in various construction management software and tools, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications. Duties Manage commercial construction projects from beginning to end. Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation effectively to optimize productivity. Utilize construction management software - Buildertrend - for project tracking and reporting. Develop detailed project estimates and budgets based on thorough analysis of project specifications. Oversee the preparation and review of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain safety standards on-site. Review blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to ensure accurate implementation of project plans. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Implement effective time management strategies to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in commercial construction management or project management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and practices. Excellent project coordination skills with a focus on detail-oriented execution. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Familiarity with contracts related to construction projects is essential. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred. Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams. The right candidate will have 10+ years previous experience in construction project management.
