Cost Accountant

Job DetailsResponsibilitiesCollect cost information and maintain BOM'sMaintain proper cost percentage by recommend required price changesDetermine fixed costs (e.g. Model requirements, Mandatory options)Plan for and record variable costs (e.g. raw material and labor costs)Review standard and actual costs for inaccuraciesAnalyze and report BOM marginsPrepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecastsAssisting in month-end and quarter-end inventoryIdentify and recommend cost-effective solutionsRequirements and skillsProven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar roleThorough knowledge of constructionIn-depth understanding of manufactured homes businessComputer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detailStrong time management skillsIntegrity, with an ability to handle confidential informationEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
